Description
The Luxacut – L3S is a precision luxation instrument designed for atraumatic tooth and root elevation during extraction procedures. It is specifically engineered to sever periodontal ligament (PDL) fibers efficiently while preserving surrounding alveolar bone integrity.
The slim, sharp working blade allows controlled insertion into the periodontal space, facilitating gradual tooth mobilization with minimal socket expansion. Its design supports conservative extraction techniques, making it suitable for cases where bone preservation is critical, including implant-site preparation and surgical extractions.
Manufactured from high-quality surgical-grade stainless steel, the L3S Luxacut ensures durability, corrosion resistance, and consistent performance under repeated sterilization cycles. It is suitable for routine dental practice and advanced surgical applications.
Direction to use
Ensure the instrument is properly sterilized before use.
Administer appropriate local anesthesia.
Insert the Luxacut blade gently into the periodontal ligament space along the tooth surface.
Advance apically with controlled pressure to sever PDL fibers.
Use slight rotational or rocking movements to increase mobility.
Repeat around the circumference of the tooth if necessary.
Proceed with forceps extraction once adequate mobility is achieved.
After use, clean thoroughly to remove debris.
Disinfect and sterilize according to standard autoclave protocols before reuse.
