Description
PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
The DPI Impression Paste is a Zinc Oxide Eugenol (ZOE) based impression material used for making secondary (wash) impressions of edentulous ridges. Known for its excellent mucostatic properties, it records fine surface detail without tissue displacement, making it ideal for complete denture fabrication. The paste is supplied in two tubes — base (zinc oxide) and catalyst (eugenol) — which, when mixed, provide a smooth-flowing material with controlled setting time and minimal tissue irritation.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Preparation – Select and prepare custom tray (after border molding if required).
Mixing – Dispense equal lengths of base paste and catalyst paste. Mix on a glass slab until a uniform color is obtained.
Application – Load the mixed paste into the custom tray evenly.
Placement – Seat the tray intraorally and hold in position until set.
Removal – Gently remove after setting and inspect for detail reproduction.
