PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
Monobond Etch & Prime (5g Refill) by Ivoclar Vivadent is an innovative one-step ceramic primer designed for the conditioning of glass-ceramic restorations. It combines etching and silanization in a single step, eliminating the need for separate hydrofluoric acid etching and silane application. This simplifies clinical workflows, increases safety, and ensures reliable bonding between glass ceramics and resin-based cements or composites.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Surface Cleaning – Rinse and dry the restoration (consider Ivoclean if contaminated during try-in).
Application – Apply a thin layer of Monobond Etch & Prime to the bonding surface.
Reaction Time – Scrub for 20 seconds, then allow to react for 40 seconds.
Rinsing – Rinse thoroughly with water spray.
Drying – Gently air-dry with oil-free air.
Proceed – Apply resin cement (e.g., Variolink Esthetic, Multilink) or composite for luting.
