Description
The AvuePex (1.5g) is a calcium hydroxide paste with iodoform, formulated for use as an intra-canal medicament in endodontic therapy. It combines the antibacterial effect of calcium hydroxide with the antimicrobial and radiopaque properties of iodoform, making it effective for disinfection, temporary canal filling, and promotion of periapical healing. AvuePex is biocompatible, easy to handle, and ideal for pediatric and adult endodontic cases.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Canal Preparation – Complete cleaning and shaping of the root canal.
Drying – Dry canal with paper points.
Application – Deliver AvuePex into the canal using a syringe and appropriate tip.
Temporary Seal – Seal access cavity with a temporary filling material.
Follow-Up – Replace or remove medicament as per clinical need before final obturation.
