DIRECTIONS TO USE
The 3M™ Scotchbond™ Etchant (9ml Bottle) is a 37% phosphoric acid gel designed for precision enamel and dentin etching prior to adhesive procedures. Its unique gel viscosity ensures controlled placement without slumping, while the distinct blue color provides excellent visibility during application and rinsing. It is indicated for use with direct and indirect bonding procedures, ensuring reliable micromechanical retention and optimal adhesive performance.
KEY FEATURES
Tooth Preparation – Clean and isolate the tooth to be restored.
Etchant Application – Apply Scotchbond™ Etchant to enamel for 15 seconds and dentin for 10–15 seconds.
Rinsing – Rinse thoroughly with water for at least 10 seconds.
Drying – Gently air-dry; leave dentin moist to avoid desiccation.
Proceed with Adhesive – Apply the bonding system according to manufacturer’s instructions.
