PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
The Ammdent Cal-Excel is a calcium hydroxide-based radiopaque paste formulated for pulp capping, cavity lining, and temporary root canal dressing. Its high alkalinity stimulates the formation of secondary dentin and provides antibacterial action, protecting the pulp from thermal, chemical, and bacterial irritation. With excellent biocompatibility and easy handling, Cal-Excel ensures safe and effective pulp protection in restorative and endodontic procedures.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Tooth Preparation – Clean and isolate the cavity.
Application – Place a thin layer of Cal-Excel paste over exposed or nearly exposed pulp/dentin.
Cavity Lining – Cover with suitable restorative material (e.g., GIC, composite).
Root Canal Dressing – Apply paste into canal as a temporary filling material.
Final Restoration – Complete with permanent restorative treatment as required.
