PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
The DPI Kalzinol (Zinc Oxide Eugenol Cement) is a reinforced ZOE cement formulated for use as a long-term temporary restorative material and cavity liner/base. Known for its sedative effect on the pulp due to eugenol, it provides pain relief and protection while maintaining excellent sealing ability. The reinforced composition offers improved strength, abrasion resistance, and durability, making it suitable for extended temporary restorations and as a base under permanent restorations.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Preparation – Clean and isolate the cavity.
Mixing – Dispense powder and liquid in recommended ratio. Mix on a glass slab until a homogenous consistency is achieved.
Application – Place into the cavity and adapt well.
Setting – Allow to self-cure; sets intraorally within minutes.
Final Step – Can be left as long-term temporary or used as a base under permanent restorations.
