PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
Meta Etchant is a 37% phosphoric acid etching gel manufactured by Meta Biomed Co. Ltd., Korea, designed for conditioning enamel and dentin surfaces prior to bonding or restorative procedures. It effectively removes the smear layer, increases surface roughness, and enhances micromechanical retention between the tooth structure and bonding agents, composites, or sealants. The thixotropic gel consistency ensures controlled placement, preventing overflow to soft tissues.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Clean and dry the tooth surface before application.
Apply Meta Etchant using an applicator tip or brush:
Enamel: Apply for 15–30 seconds.
Dentin: Apply for 10–15 seconds.
Rinse thoroughly with water for at least 10 seconds to remove all etchant residue.
Gently air-dry the surface — avoid over-drying dentin.
Proceed immediately with bonding or restorative procedures.
