PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
Metapex is a premixed calcium hydroxide with iodoform root canal filling material manufactured by Meta Biomed Co. Ltd., Korea. It is used for temporary or permanent obturation of root canals, especially in primary teeth and infected canals. The unique combination of calcium hydroxide and iodoform provides excellent antibacterial, antiseptic, and healing properties, promoting apical healing and bone regeneration while maintaining radiopacity for easy X-ray identification.
The Metapex 2 Syringe Pack contains two prefilled syringes for convenient and hygienic dispensing, ensuring precise delivery into the canal with minimal waste.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Prepare and clean the root canal thoroughly.
Attach a disposable delivery tip to the Metapex syringe.
Gently inject Metapex paste into the canal, filling from the apex upward.
Remove any excess material from the pulp chamber.
Seal the access cavity with a suitable restorative material.
