PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
The FGM Orthocem is a light-cured orthodontic adhesive resin developed for the bonding of metal, ceramic, and polycarbonate brackets directly to enamel surfaces. It is pre-mixed and ready-to-use, eliminating the need for manual mixing and ensuring consistent results. With integrated fluoride release, Orthocem not only provides strong and durable adhesion but also helps protect against demineralization around brackets during orthodontic treatment. Its thixotropic consistency prevents bracket sliding while allowing easy placement and adjustment.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Tooth Preparation – Clean enamel, etch with 37% phosphoric acid, rinse, and dry.
Primer Application – Apply a thin coat of adhesive primer on the etched enamel.
Resin Application – Apply Orthocem adhesive resin directly to the bracket base.
Bracket Placement – Position bracket on the tooth, remove excess resin.
Light Curing – Cure each side of the bracket for 20 seconds (depending on curing unit intensity).
Final Check – Verify bracket stability and clean any residual resin.
