PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
Rident Calstar LC is a light-cured calcium hydroxide-based protective liner and pulp capping material formulated to provide excellent pulp protection and long-term durability. The material combines calcium hydroxide’s proven biological benefits with light-curing resin technology, offering fast setting, superior strength, and easy handling. It releases calcium ions to stimulate secondary dentin formation while maintaining a strong bond to dentin. Calstar LC forms a hard, durable layer that protects the pulp from thermal, chemical, and mechanical irritation, making it ideal for use under all restorative materials.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Clean and dry the prepared cavity without over-drying dentin.
Apply a thin layer of Rident Calstar LC on the exposed dentin or over the pulp area using a microbrush or applicator tip.
Light-cure for 20–30 seconds using a standard curing light.
Proceed with placement of restorative material or base as indicated.
