PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
Rident Eugenol is a pure, refined oil of clove derivative used in dentistry for sedative and antiseptic purposes in various restorative and endodontic procedures. It possesses anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and mild anesthetic properties, making it ideal for use as a soothing agent for dental pulp and in the formulation of temporary dressings, cements, and impression pastes. When combined with zinc oxide, it forms a zinc oxide–eugenol cement that provides an excellent temporary sealing material with a soothing effect on irritated pulpal tissues. Rident Eugenol ensures reliability, consistency, and purity for professional dental use.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Dispense a few drops of Rident Eugenol onto a glass mixing slab.
Mix with zinc oxide powder until a smooth, putty-like consistency is achieved (for ZOE cement).
Apply the mixed cement or dressing to the prepared cavity or pulp exposure.
Allow it to set intraorally; remove after the prescribed time as per clinical need.
Use pure Eugenol directly on cotton pellets as a sedative dressing when required.
