PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
Rident R-Silane is a single-component silane coupling agent specially formulated to promote chemical bonding between resin materials and glass or ceramic surfaces. It enhances adhesion by forming a durable siloxane bond to the ceramic surface and a covalent bond to the resin matrix. Ideal for use before cementation or repair of ceramic restorations, R-Silane ensures long-lasting retention, improved marginal integrity, and enhanced esthetics.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Etch the ceramic surface with hydrofluoric acid (e.g., Rident HF Etch) for the recommended time.
Rinse and dry the surface thoroughly to remove all etchant residues.
Apply a thin coat of Rident R-Silane using a microbrush.
Allow it to react for 60 seconds to ensure complete surface coupling.
Air dry gently to evaporate solvent and leave a uniform silane layer.
Proceed immediately with adhesive application or cementation of the restoration.
