Description

Features:

1. Chemically adheres to tooth structure and cast appliances.
2. Exhibits high adhesive strength and low solubility.
3. Radiopaque, easy to mix and manipulate with a very low film thickness.
4. Can be placed on freshly cut dentin with no pulpal irritation.
5. Less technique sensitive due to the tannin-fluoride additive.

Direction to Use:

Hy-Bond Polycarboxylate cement is indicated specifically for successful cementation of cast restorations and orthodontic appliances. Developed with Shofu’s patented Hy-Agent additive (tannin-fluoride), it helps to minimize post-operative sensitivity and increase compressive strength.

Key Specifications:

• POWDER: Zinc Oxide, Magnesium Oxide, HY agents.
• LIQUID: Acrylic acid – tri carboxylic acid co-polymer, Tartaric acid, Distilled Water.
• Working Time: 3 mins (Cementation), 2 mins (Lining).
• Setting Time: 4 mins (Cementation), 3 mins (Lining).
• Mixing Time: 60 seconds.
• Storage: Store at room temperature (1-30°C).
