Description
PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
Y-Dent Impression Compound is a thermoplastic impression material designed for making primary impressions in edentulous and partially edentulous cases. Manufactured with high-quality natural resins, waxes, and fillers, it provides excellent plasticity, flow, and dimensional stability when softened in warm water. Once set, the compound forms a rigid, accurate impression that faithfully reproduces oral details, making it ideal for complete denture fabrication, border molding, and impression tray corrections.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Cut the required amount of Y-Dent Impression Compound stick or cake.
Soften it in a water bath at 60–70°C until pliable.
Knead the compound with wet fingers to achieve a smooth, workable consistency.
Load the softened material onto the impression tray.
Place the tray in the patient’s mouth and adapt it gently to the tissues.
Allow it to cool and harden in the mouth before removing.
If adjustments are needed, reheat and reshape the compound as required.
