Description
The Avue Etch (5g) is a 37% phosphoric acid etching gel designed for use in adhesive and restorative dentistry. It provides controlled enamel and dentin conditioning, enhancing the micromechanical retention of bonding agents, sealants, composites, and other resin-based materials. The gel consistency ensures easy placement and prevents uncontrolled flow, while its bright color improves visibility during application.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Isolation – Isolate tooth with cotton rolls or rubber dam.
Application – Apply Avue Etch gel onto enamel (15–30 sec) and dentin (10–15 sec).
Rinsing – Thoroughly rinse with water for at least 10–15 seconds.
Drying – Gently air-dry enamel until frosty white; leave dentin slightly moist.
Next Step – Apply bonding agent (e.g., Avue Bond) and proceed with restoration.
