PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
The DPI Green Stick Compound is a thermoplastic impression material supplied in stick form, widely used in border molding, peripheral sealing, and functional impression techniques. When softened in a flame or hot water, the material becomes moldable and can be adapted to the denture periphery or custom tray borders. Once cooled, it hardens to provide a stable, extended border, ensuring a more accurate final impression and better denture retention.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Heating – Soften the green stick compound by holding over a flame or immersing in hot water.
Application – Apply the softened compound to the periphery of the impression tray.
Functional Molding – Insert tray in patient’s mouth and guide them through functional movements (smiling, speaking, cheek movements).
Setting – Allow compound to cool and harden intraorally to record functional borders.
Final Impression – Proceed with wash impression over the border-molded tray for maximum accuracy.
