Description
Root Elevator Set of 9 Pcs in Pouch (RESP9) is a surgical dental instrument kit designed for luxation and elevation of teeth and root fragments during extraction procedures. The set includes a variety of elevators with different tip shapes and angulations, allowing clinicians to effectively mobilize teeth and remove retained roots from the alveolar socket.
These elevators are commonly used during routine and surgical extractions to separate the periodontal ligament and create controlled leverage for loosening teeth or root fragments prior to removal with extraction forceps. The different designs included in the set provide improved access to various areas of the oral cavity, making the kit suitable for a wide range of extraction procedures.
Manufactured from high-quality medical-grade stainless steel, the instruments offer excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and reliable performance during surgical procedures. The set is supplied in a protective pouch, which helps keep the instruments organized and convenient for storage, handling, and transport.
Direction to use
Ensure all instruments are properly cleaned and sterilized before use.
Select the appropriate elevator based on the tooth position or root fragment.
Insert the working tip between the tooth or root and surrounding bone.
Apply controlled leverage to loosen the tooth or root fragment.
Continue luxation movements until the tooth becomes sufficiently mobile.
Remove the tooth or root fragment using forceps or elevator as required.
After use, clean, disinfect, and sterilize the instruments according to standard infection control protocols.
