PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
Rident HF Etch is a hydrofluoric acid-based etching gel formulated for surface conditioning of ceramic restorations such as veneers, inlays, onlays, and crowns prior to adhesive bonding. The controlled viscosity allows precise placement without running, while the bright color provides clear visibility during application. It enhances micromechanical retention by creating micro-porosities on the ceramic surface, ensuring a strong and durable bond between ceramic and resin cement or composite.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Clean and dry the ceramic surface thoroughly before application.
Apply a thin layer of Rident HF Etch gel to the bonding surface using the supplied applicator tip.
Allow the gel to act for:
20 seconds for feldspathic porcelain,
40–60 seconds for pressable or lithium-disilicate ceramics.
Rinse thoroughly with water for at least 30 seconds and dry with oil-free air.
Apply silane coupling agent and proceed with bonding using resin cement or composite.
