Description
The Filadent Wooden Wedges are precision-cut, anatomically shaped wedges designed for use in Class II restorative procedures to ensure tight interproximal contact, proper matrix adaptation, and gingival seal. Made from high-quality natural wood, these wedges are gentle on gingival tissues while providing firm separation of teeth. Their tapered, triangular design allows excellent adaptation to different interproximal spaces, reducing the risk of overhangs and improving the final restoration outcome.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Selection – Choose the appropriate wedge size based on interproximal space.
Placement – Insert wedge gently into the gingival embrasure beneath the matrix band.
Adaptation – Ensure wedge holds the matrix tightly against the tooth surface.
Restoration – Proceed with placement of restorative material.
Removal – After curing/setting, carefully remove wedge with tweezers.
Disposal – Discard after single use.
